Mini Workshop and Critique Groups

  • 26 Jul 2016
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Turnage Theater

We're trying a new format--the mini-workshop on the third Tuesday of selected months. The intent is to have a speaker present instruction on a topic of interest to writers. The workshop will consume about an hour leaving time for normal business and critiques.

Doris Schneider will present our first mini-workshop on:

Book reviews: writing them for others, getting others to write them for you, how to use them, their significance in marketing your book, and reviews through professional companies or not.

Doris was the original spark for our annual conference and has chaired the Conference Steering Committee for the past five years.

Our Critique Groups meet year-round, the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm, Turnage Theater in downtown Washington, NC. We will meet briefly with the General Critique Group and then separate for our session.
